I was recently what we do at the Brewing Institute and why do people come to our brewery. Do we help fledging home brewers realise their potential to kick start a hobby for life? Are we delivering a form of entertainment? Or is it a place were people can gather socially with a group of mates.
Good question! What we have seen is a cross section of all three but with one common theme, the love of good beer. Our desire is to put smiles on peoples faces. To see enjoyment from a day of brewing beer a little differently to what they may have done or seen before and with the end result producing a great beer to drink at home.
I don’t believe there is one size fits all, each person has their own individual reasons for coming along. I just hope they all walk away with smiles of their faces and say ”man that was great fun”.
